A welcome Note & my why?…
Firstly, congratulations on your engagement!
and secondly, i’m so excited you’re here!
I just wanted to take a little moment to introduce myself and explain why the launch of IVORY INDEX is incredibly special to me.
So, Hi! I’m Steph and welcome to IVORY INDEX!
To give a little context as to why... I’ve always been a fashion girl. But I’ve also always sat on the cusp of “straight” sizing and plus sizing, which means shopping in-store is rarely a comfortable or enjoyable experience. I’m constantly searching for brands that genuinely embrace size inclusivity and offer fashion beyond the “standard” size range.
As my wedding approached, these feelings only intensified. What should have felt exciting quickly became overwhelming.... hours of research, struggling to find modern styles I loved available in my size, and navigating all the emotions that already come with planning a wedding. Because of those experiences, I never really had my own true “yes to the dress” moment.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of going dress shopping with some of my favourite girls, and through those experiences I discovered there are boutiques out there going above and beyond for inclusive brides.
However, there’s still a long way to go...the “we only stock samples up to a size 14” conversation is still far too common, but change is happening.
That’s exactly why IVORY INDEX exists.
I hope this little corner of the internet saves you time, eases some of the stress and anxiety, and helps you feel seen throughout your bridal journey. Most of all, I hope it helps you find the experience and the dress, you truly deserve.

A little insight to how i’ve created it… a mini world for YOU, the bride!!
the directories are there to help narrow down where to shop, what sizes are available, a price range if available and a direct link to their website/dresses!
The inner circle is a space for us to share some of the finer details, ask questions, get feedback.. honest up to date knowledge of a space that is unfortunately not made for all.
and our blog, this is for us to share direct links and unique products, trunk shows worth knowing and different things that we come across and think would be helpful to you!
