Why ivory index exists
Ivory Index was created after experiencing firsthand just how overwhelming and isolating bridal shopping can feel as a plus size bride.
What should feel exciting often becomes endless research, uncertainty around sizing, disappointing appointments, and trying to piece together information that simply isn’t easy to find.
I wanted to create the kind of platform I wish existed during my own bridal era — one place to discover genuinely inclusive boutiques, trusted recommendations, thoughtful resources, and a community of brides who truly understand the experience.
Ivory Index was created because finding genuinely inclusive bridal options in Australia often requires extra emotional labour, endless research, and disappointment that many plus size brides know far too well.
This platform exists to make that experience feel easier, more exciting, and far less isolating.
